Peter, It just keeps getting better, doesn't it. The last time I looked at the licensing API's was because I wanted to take a look at using user functions for security. What I found is that I had to register the application and I wasn't sure I wanted to tackle that. I couldn't figure out the product registration API and didn't want to take a chance in that area on screwing something up. It was a long time ago, but I seem to remember somehting about a product id number being required and me not being able to create one. But even if I could get that working, that means I would have to change our installation process, maintenance process, and who knows what else. It seems like maybe I would be expanding the scope of the project. Will the licensing API's allow me to count multiple sessions on a single terminal as one and multiple sessions on multiple terminals as more than one? (Ooops -- I just <<realized that might sound like humor, but it's a serious question). +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
