RE: Midrange expertise on non-midrange stuffI agree with Dan & Jeff.

We really need an informal shoot-the-breeze list. Initially, I also thought
that the new list was going to fulfill that role, and then it became
apparent that the list is restricted to iNation related topics. In my
opinion, it's not going to see much traffic. We need a general topics list -
not an iNation list.

Agreed, Jeff, I've had numerous questions that were PC/Windoze in nature,
but wanted answered from the perspective of the midrange group.
A few days ago, I asked David whether ISN Citizens was intended to keep all
non-technical issues off MIDRANGE-L. David responded that it was just for
iSeries Nation stuff. I would like to suggest that, perhaps, there should
be another list, so that the technical & non-technical issues that now
appear on MIDRANGE-L can be segregated. It would appear that a
non-technical MIDRANGE-L would see more traffic than the ISN Citizens is
seeing right now. Maybe that's easier said than done.
