From what I understand, HELP Systems "Robot Console" product can 
supposedly do this.  I looked into it briefly a while ago, but have not 
used it.

Thanks Alister,
                 I am already using QSYSMSG for that purpose. The real 
problem is
curtailing non urgent error messages from dev/test environments where the
default message queue would be different to QSYSOPR say QTESTOPR and 
QDEVOPR

You might check archives on earlier discussion here of QSYSMSG to get the 
most serious messages segregated.
