Title: 3570 c12 tape drive question
Configure the 3570 to be in MANUAL mode ( unless you have BRMS ).  Then it acts like a 7208 ( for example ) with multiple drives.  So, MANUAL mode on the tape drive makes it load the next tape AUTOMATICALLY.  Very intuitive, huh?

Subject: 3570 c12 tape drive question

I'm hoping this is simple...

This tape drive has 2 tape bays, and a 20 slot magazine...  I can't seem to figure out how to do a backup, and tell the tape drive to use the next available tape automatically... If I select the tape manually it will work, but that seems to defeat the purpose of having the 20 slot magazine holder...

any suggestions...

thanks, tim
