Dan, > Dang. I knew I should'a qualified that. Well, who cares about the bean > counters, anyway, eh? <g> Not me!! ;-)) > What do you do about the contents of >*JOBQs, *USRQs, *DTAQs, *MSGQs etc ??? Well, they are lost. It is my opinion that properly designed applications do not use any of these queues for storage of any kind. That is, the required entries on the queues must be able to be regenerated by some type of application recovery process. And if backups are done at times when the application is properly quiesced then these queues should be empty. > How about the jobs on the job scheduler? That is in a DB File, name escapes me at the moment, so it's covered. - Larry -- Larry Bolhuis | Cogito ergo mercari iSeries Arbor Solutions, Inc. | (616) 451-2500 | (I think, therefore I buy iSeries.)
