Jim,

A "SAVE 21" is the best you can do for backing up the AS/400.  It gets
*everything*.  If all your DASD suffered a meltdown, your "SAVE 21" backup and
your MULIC tape/CD puts you back in business.

(Disaster Recovery is obviously much more complicated than that, but this was
specifically answering the "backup policy" question.)

These are useful sites for general knowledge of the subject....but I think
most of us are interested in AS/400 shops. Is a '21' save enough? If not,
why not?

Maybe there is some proud department head out that that would share his with
us via direct email????
