In my opinion one cannot have "a lot more things" and good quality at the
same time.
It's either one or another. Make you choice.
Most people will choose "a lot more things" - this is why iSeries loses
ground.
But some still want quality - this is why it is not dead yet.

(By the way, this is the only reason why mainframes still exist, although
their death was foretold decades ago.)
