The simplest method, in my opinion, is to run an ftp script with

quote rcmd CL-command

in it.
Exception handling is a bit ticklish with this method though.

Subject:  Remote commands




I have been requested to setup a program that I have not used before and
need your help.

We have an NT Server and the AS/400 connected to the Ethernet network.
Based on certain conditions that happen on the NT Server, a procedure
needs to be run on the AS/400. The NT server does not have Client Access
Express installed on it.

I want to send a command from the NT server to start the procedure. Where
do I go to read about doing this or does someone have an example that
already does this?
