Oludare, I don't think there are any PROs for having a system with no disk
protection.  Your load source (operating system) as a good practice should
at least be mirrored if possible.  I should state that if this is a
production system for a company,  or for your personal usage and assuming
that the data is important, you should have some level of disk protection.
