Hi All !!

We're shortly going to be installing an LPAR'd 820 with a PC for the Ops
Console and Remote Control Panel, however a curious little item in
'CA4155081 Operations Console Setup' has us wondering. It states that "For
AS/400e servers 270, 820, 830, and 840, the remote control panel runs only
under Windows NT. For other AS/400e servers, the remote control panel runs
under Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT Workstation 4.0 or later, and
Windows 2000 professional.'.

We'd really like to install Win2000 on the Ops Console, and are just
wondering if the above statement is absolutely correct. I can't understand
why it would work under WinNT but not under Win2000. Does anyone have
remote Control Panel working under Win2000 ??

Thanks in Advance
