I believe there are only 2 places in the US that do not use DST. Indiana
(except 2 counties at the extreme corners of the state) and Arizona. As far
as I know, there is no place on the east coast that does not use DST.

We do have daylight savings time & standard time scattered helter skelter
across the state of Indiana and adjacent states, which is a bit of a
nuisance
when we are located in a region with employees coming from communities that
do have it and don't have it.

This can be a political football in the State of Indiana from the
perspective
of the degree to which local communities will accept central authority
meddling in their ability to make decisions on esoteric topics.

I communicate with folks in the east who are on Eastern Standard Time
& with other folks who are on Eastern Daylight Savings Time.

They have the same mess in the East as we have with Central Time ... helter
skelter some communities using it, some not.

I wonder if this is confusing to our business partners in other countries.
Do they have similar complications tacked on to the standard time zones?

In business terms I do not see what difference it makes that we communicate
with people who are on Pacific Time, or European Times ... the only
difference is in the means of communication that work when there is little
or
no overlap between our regular hours of staffed open for business.
