I am not 100% positive, others more versed on this list can clarify this,
but I do not
believe that the crtdevprt as I had shown you will work until you are at
least at V4R2
or possibly even higher... I apologize for not specifying release level
criteria...

I kept this message for a while until I had the time to try it on my
system (I'm not the one who posted the original question).  I'm on
V3R7M0 and I can't seem to create a remote printer as a device, only
as an output queue.

When I do manage to get a printer device by adjusting the parameters
the system is complaining about it never prints.
