It might be possible to run Oracle under PASE, *IF* Oracle refrains from doing any direct DASD manipulation. Even if you could get it running, it would be risky to do so without any direct support from Oracle. If you truly want to run Oracle on an AS/400 or iSeries box, your chances of doing it successfully would be much higher if you wait for the Linux partition, and try to do it there... Until then, I would continue suggesting a port to DB2/400.
