Mark, I'm glad we have the same hymn book. <grin> The library a file is in is part of its identification for me, so I covered that in number one. I haven't had to bother with multi-format files in a coon's age, so I forgot that one - sorry. As for the darned PTF thing, IMHO the effort they've put into issuing PTF's for all these years could have created a parameter or switch somewhere long ago so we wouldn't HAVE to deal with PTF's. I mean, come on, this has affected every release since V2R3 - can't they take a bloody hint? Dave Shaw Spartan International, Inc. Amen! Although I do check the activation group once in a while, your list is 99.99% of the reasons to look @ that screen (although I'd like to add looking @ the library and the format name of the files is useful, too). The PTF s/b made permanent and let the activation group view be PTFable. -mark +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
