Thank You Barbara !  The date from the QusRtvJobI API  ends my quest for a
static job date.  The Holy Grail of job dates.  For the benefit of the list
archives I will mention that ALL job / system dates in the Program Status
Data Structure are subject to change during the life of an active job.  They
are static only within the context of an instance of a running program from
the time the program starts to the time it ends (with LR on for RPG).  In
other words, the following PSDS dates can change within a running job.
pos 191-198 "The date the job entered the system" will change via CHGJOB
DATE(new date)
pos 270-275 "The date the job started running in the system" will changed
via CHGJOB DATE(new date)
pos 276-281 "The Date of program running (the system date in UDATE format)"
will change across midnight
