This comes up alot.

Standard technique is to create the file on the 400 first.  
Key in a dummy record. Download that and keep the FDF file 
that it will create for you.  Then use this FDF file when 
you go to upload.

I am trying to transfer a pc file with 44000 records in text format to the
as400.  I have client access runing on the PC but keep getting errors.
Where do I look to find how this is done - ie what the FDF file format is,
what to use for field reference file names, etc
