Agreed, they are two different animals (no pun intended).  When the AWC
first came out I thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Imagine (gasp), I can connect a PC to an AS400 with no twinax board, or even
dial in from home.... total nirvana.
Fast forward to 2000 and I still want to dial up and connect, but I want my,
I want my, I want my TCP.  ASCII, that is something we messed with a LONG
time ago.  <grin>.
I was just pointing out the solution we have implemented for a client who
had an ASCII WSC on every system for dial up access.  The cost of the SPD
bus and the 6141 card is very high and the function very low.
