Cynthia,

We just recently moved an AS/400 from Nashville TN. to central PA.
IBM Global Services handled the complete move, including de-install in
Nashville, picking and arranging for the moving company, and re-install in
PA.
They did an excellent job. We did have a disk drive go back and needed to
reinstall the operating system during power-up at it's new home. The nice
part of having IBM handle the move was the new disk drive being sent by
courier to us the night of the move and the IBM CE and I being here till 4am
the next morning to get the system up and running. The cost of IBM Global
Services handling the complete move was a little better than eight thousand
dollars.
If you need any additional information or a telephone number for IBM Global
Services, please let me know and I will send them to your private E-mail.

Scotty

Most moving companies insure based on weight which is what you DON'T want.

problematic barring a truck accident.

pick-up truck and moved it themselves successfully. Yikes!
