Well, here at work, I'm stuck with WNT. But at home I use KDE. Some people accuse KDE of being too much like Windows, but I disagree. It's much better. But yes, it can be configured to look like Windows. KDE gives you a button (labelled K) in the corner that sorta works like Windows "Start" button. And if you want, you can get a Windows-like task bar. But since a click on the middle mouse button gets you a list of tasks, I don't see much point to the task bar. (My wife likes the task bar, though, so she has her desktop configured with it.) KDE version 2 is expected sometime this spring. From the information provided at their web site (http://www.kde.org/), version 2 looks like it should really send cold shivers up the spines of some execs in Redmond! Cheers!
