I know, I use to work for GBM Guatemala(IBM in Central America) as and SE
for midrange size, just in Guatemala, we still have running, 3 S/3, 1 S/32,
9 S/34, 43 S/36 and like 460+ as/400 in 1996, and this is people who call us
because they needed something to keep running their machines(parts,
software, ptf or technical questions).

P.D. I'm not consider my self and old guy because I work with , I'm just

Get this - one of our customers still has four S/34s!  The only real Y2K
issue they've run into is that the diskette drive won't handle files with
dates before 1970.  They're replacing them with AS/400s, but just goes to
show you - IBM builds good iron.
