Hi Debbie
From GO TCPADM, take option 7 work with TCP/IP network status, then
option 1. You should see your IP address for the AS/400. Take option 5
and you should get the following.

Display TCP/IP Interface Status 5769SS1 V4R2M0
980228
  Interface host name . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
AS400IBM Internet address . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
10.0.0.7 Subnet mask . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
: 255.255.255.0 Network address . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
: 38.215.12.0 Host address . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
: 0.0.0.7 Directed broadcast address . . . . . . . .
: 10.0.0.255 Interface status . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
: Active Change date/time . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
: 08/25/99 07:17:03 Line description . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
: LANLINE Type of service . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
: *NORMAL Maximum transmission unit . . . . . . . . . .
: 1492 Line type . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
: *ELAN Automatic start . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
: *YES

Network address should be your router address.
Somewhere in the setup it asks for the 'next hop'. This should be the
router assigned to the network segment that contains the As/400.
