I am talking about the CURLIB (Current Library) parameter
in the CRTLIB command. F1 shows help for this field as:

"Specifies the name of the library used as the current
library when menu is shown...."
with possible values being *NOCHG, *MNULIB,
*CRTDFT and library-name.

I am using this to emulate the way S36 menus are used.
When you go to a S36 menu the current library is changed
to the library of the menu. I found some difficulties in
converting menus from S36 to native menus until I found
this parameter.

The only problem is every time I modify a menu with the 17
option (Change using SDA) in PDM and hit F3 to exit changes
and Enter, then I get to the compile screen, that uses CRTMNU
to compile the menu interactively. At this point I have to enter
a 'Y' for "Prompt for parameters" so that when it goes to compile
I can change the CURLIB parameter in the CRTLIB command to
*MNULIB. So, that when a user displays the menu their
current library is automatically changed to the same library as
where the menu is contained.

I was just hoping there was someway I could specify PDM to
use *MNULIB instead of *NOCHG for the parameter for
CURLIB so I could save a few extra steps.

Jim Langston
