Hello,
I have a QIC1000 1/4 inch tape drive on my model 500. The tape model
is a 6379. I was looking to move a lot of data, 7 gig, to this QIC1000.
Since I only had a few 1.2 gig tapes in the office, the nearby supply store
here said they could order more and they could order 3 gig or 10 gig tapes
for this drive. Well the tapes arrived today and these 3 and 10 gig tapes
are not going to fit.
For the QIC1000, are the 1.2 gig tapes the only ones that will work
in this drive?
