Hi Sam,

It sounds like you're looking for a multi-format logical file, not a join
logical. There's a sample in the DDS manual. The only problem is that since
your record formats are named the same, you will have to specify a new
format name for the 2nd format, and you will have to specify all the fields
for that new format, which you can do fairly simply by copying the DDS for
it from the PF's DDS.
