I'm sure the answer to my problem is easy but I'm not seeing it. I have a need to join 2 PFs and process them as 1. They are identical in record format name, field names and characterisitics. They both have the same four fields defined as a key. If you put the records from both files together you would still have a unique key. I have been reading about join LFs but I don't see an example of this scenario so I am not sure if I can use that within DB2. I know I can copy the 2 files into 1 every time I want to process the merged files but of course, that's a lot of overhead. Does anyone have an idea?
