In my quest to get ECS working I now have the 400 talking to the modem.
When running SNDSRVRQS *TEST at the bottom of the screen it says:
"Connecting to Remote System" Then the modem negociates, connects
and the bottom of the screen says:
"Sending Test Request to *IBMSRV" I get an error in QSYSOPR message
queue saying:

shown in the technical description.

  Technical description . . . . . . . . : The return code is 2D080000, module

is ROC3MGR, and macro is PMOPENCALL. The service assigned number is
33415.

Does anyone have any ideas what might cause this? I'm running V4R4. Or
where I can look up the return code?

Thank you all for some great input.
