How does one create the datalink?  Again using the example where the drawing 
currently exists in the IFS as some *.bmp file.

almost forgot...

You could define the data as a type and then write your own UDF (User
Defined Function) to deal with the movement, storage and other operations on
the data. But, if you are just storing the data (say a picture in JPG format
for a personnel system) then datalinks is the way...
