About a week ago I sent an e-mail in reference to a program working correctly on v3r2. The code is written in RPGLE. The program had been tested thoroughly. We moved it to our v4r1 box and it did not work. It was the same thing SETLL and READE. We had to put a key on the READE. I guess no one pays any attention to me. -----Original Message----- From: Chris Bipes [SMTP:rpg@cross-check.com] Sent: Wednesday, December 01, 1999 12:12 PM To: Midrange-L (E-mail) Subject: ILE RPG READE Help, I have a program that has been working for years. Now that I upgraded to V4R3M0, (from V3R7), with the latest cum installed, the program is mis behaving. I am performing a setll/reade on a join logical file and my EOF indicator is not being set. Has anyone else experienced this? I am changing the program in error to use the new BIF %EOF and hope it will fix the problem at hand, but the eof indicator is in use in all of our program. Do I have a really big problem here? Any help, suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Christopher K.
