  • Subject: HTTP Server returning ERROR - 403
  • From: Vijosh A <VijoshA@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

I have been trying to set up HTTP server on my AS400. I did the following -

1. Created a SRCPF named HTMLDOC and with in that I created a member
with extension HTML which contains few simple HTML text.
2. Used WRKHTTPCFG to change the configuration. Here I have mapped the
library in which this member lies. Mentioned the path in the PASS statement.
Enabled port 80.
3. Gave rights to user profile QTMHHTTP for objects in the above
mentioned path.
4. Started HTTP server.

Now when I try connecting to the AS400 using IE4.0, it gives error saying -
'Not authorised to view the page'. Error Code is = 403.

I have re- checked authorities etc.

Can any one tell me as to where I'm making the mistake ?

Thanks & Regards
