Joe,

    No I do not believe that this will get the IP answer that the user is
looking for, rather this will return the source address that the session
which executes this code is started from.  An even then you need to be
careful of how your FireWall is setup as I think in a NAT configuration you
might get the NAT address not the users original address..

    What I think the original question is trying to get at is the address
assigned by the ISP DHCP server to the PPP connection request originated by
the AS/400 to the ISP.  Or maybe it's a router doing the PPP request.  I
would have to look at some manuals before I would hazard a guess as to which
IP API might get this specific address but it should (QUOTE) be retrievable.
