  • Subject: Prereq's for Hiper Group PTF's

I went to the web site
http://as400service.rochester.ibm.com/supporthome.nsf/Document/10000031
and noticed the hiper group PTF's. My question is: If I order and install the
latest cum,
and then the Hiper group PTF's, will I have any concern about prereq's, coreq's
or other such
animals? For example one HIPER for V4R3 is SF59210. It lists as a prereq
SF58916. Neither
SF58916, nor it's supersede of SF59147, are on cum 9243, (according to SF97430).

I am not ordering using SNDPTFORD. For one thing, IBM and the 400 are not
e-business ready, (lack of TCP/IP for SNDPTFORD). Also I like the tracking
available when using
http://service.software.ibm.com/as400.us.reg/orderptfmedia?lang=english|1
