I agree it would be very useful. Perhaps it's not there because it is hard
to
think up a good name <grin> EXTRACT is good but what is the opposite ?? None
of
the candidates I can think of are a real good fit for a variety of reasons.
For
example INSERT, POKE, PUSH, REPLACE, CHANGE are all in the 'close but no
cigar'
category.

Anyone want to play name the opcode ?
