RE: 4GL Products

We are Lansa business partners and we have actually written applications using 
it.  It is a great
4gl.  You can write one app using their "macro" language and then generate for 
multiple platforms,
including 5250, web, client/server, NT only, XML, just to name a few.

Their user conference in April was very exciting.  There were many companies 
there that have written
everything in LANSA.  Software houses, major corporations, etc.

I've started looking at 4GL products and I'd be interested in hearing
recommendations and/or things to watch out for.  We want to generate
application(s) that will run on the AS/400, provide a web interface for
users, and has ties to Domino (also running on the AS/400).  Security is

also a big deciding factor.
