Scott,

You are not alone in getting no or little response from ProData on bugs. It
appears that ProData is fast becoming the Microsoft of the AS/400 utility world.

>>We have been using DBU for quite a while now. I was wondering if
others have also gotten bad support from ProData like we have.

Two release ago (4.0), we sent ProData a list of problems with DBU.
Things like looping, hard crashes, and quirks (about 19 things).
When we got the next release (4.1) we checked the list of stuff again.
Only about 25% of the things were fixed and a few more were added to
the list. The list went down to about 15 items and sent to ProData.
We are now on version 5.0, and some of these problems STILL exist.
I have not sent them the new list yet because I am still working on
testing the thing on the previous list and adding things to the new list.
It seems to us that ProData does not know how to listen to the
problems of their customers. Some time next year, I will be looking into
the possibility of replacing DBU with something else. <soapbox off>
