We're making the move that many of you have already gone through [CISC--->RISC], and have also decided to separate development from production. That brings up the issues around multiple systems. I want to get a handle on the various ways to move DATA, OBJECTS, etc between systems, and also to be able to EXECUTE commands on one from the other. We're coming from V3R2 and will be on V4R3 on the new boxes [TCP/IP network]. I know that SNADS has some of these features. TELNET is available as well as FTP between the systems, and I'm sure others. I'd like to hear from some of you that have this type of environment. Eventually we'll likely only have source on one of the systems, but managing source, test data, program installations, user profiles, submitting jobs of various types, etc, are the types of things I'm referring to. Thanks in advance.
