Well we have finally got Rumba 5.2 95/NT for AS/400 installed -but in two
areas its proving to a pig. Both are for screenscraping.

1:No help files on DDE row and column format-(trying to guess Rumbas
format-returns you nothing but DDE request errors) in otherwords we cant
port our legacy
Netsoft DDE code over--So we can forget DDE unless I get a lucky break by
an old timer coder still at Walldata.

2:Rumbas ObjectX custom ActiveX VB control for the AS/400 display works
fine,(you scrrenscrape by getscreen and putscreen commands-great!! only
problem the ObjectX toolbar doesnt--you get a blank toolbar with no menus
nothing ops!!!----which means the end-users would never accept a display
like that.
So we can forget Walldatas great Active X ObjectX custom control.

3:Which leaves us with one last option HLLAPI--I hope this will work!but
nothing ever comes easy I supose

cheers Dave
