                  database and 99.8 percent reliability. It is being
positioned as a solid
                  platform to deliver Internet based applications with

                  development leaning towards thin client architectures and
browser
                  based applications, preferably running Java. With the
AS/400
                  involved in e-business, there is room for continued growth
for the
                  platform. Neil Spencer-Jones, a managing consultant with
the
                  National Computing Center, believes that there will be a
strong
                  market for the AS/400 for years to come.
