IPDS printer -- MIDRANGE-L

Hi all - here's an IPDS printing error.

To print an IPDS SPLF, I defined an IPDS printer on a
HP4000TN, with an IPDS I-data DIMM card included. The
printer is *IP, a ping from AS to the printer's
address is OK.

On the AS, with CRTDEVPRT, I created the following

When starting the printer I get in QSYSOPR the
following error:

is being retried.  Cause : A session cannot be
established with the device at RMTLOCNAME

22:      The device did not respond to a connection
request.

When trying to print, the SPLF rests in PND; it never
goes to WTR.

I tried to scan more than 200 threads in the David's
Archive List concerning IPDS printing, but I didn't
find anything of help.

Any idea ?
