I don't know about study aids, but somewhere on the IBM web site there are
sample exams. A friend of mine whose IBM midrange experience goes back to
the system 3 and is actually pretty knowledgeable tried the sample exam and
did poorly. It's like a technical interview--real world situation relevance
is coincidental. In depth knowledge of DDS keywords is a real plus.

Hi Listers,

I am interested in IBM certification, especially the programming exams.
Are there websites or other lists to help in studying?

Anybody out there who is certified?
How did you do it?

By the way, I am on a budget, as my company will not pay for exams or study
materials. I am on my own, so I am seeking inexpensive aids, not the IBM
classes.

For example, there are many websites dedicated to helping people study for
the Microsoft and Novell exams. Where are the IBM ones?

Thanks in advance,

Barbara
