Hi, fellow AS/400 fans: With all the changes made to the AS/400 over the past few years, I'm curious whether an AS/400 now can be used to back up other (non-AS/400) systems on the network. For example, that could be done with all Unix variants (except you can't backup your AS/400 that way). The tape drive on the AS/400 here has a much higher capacity than the other systems, and I'd like to make use of it. Creative minds welcomed. :^) Thanks in advance. -- Dennis Lovelady Simpsonville, SC mail: dennis@lovelady.com URL: http://lovelady.piedmont.net ICQ: 5734860 -- "No one is laughable who laughs at himself." - Seneca (1st century) +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
