A hidden field does not take any space on the display. Non display fields do
takes place on the display but are not visible. The RRN id hiden because it is
not displaied. It is use to control some IO operation. As for the PAGSIZ, I
dont understand since this keyword is not a variable.

Hi,

I've just recently acquainted myself with the AS/400,so this question may
sounda bit trivial.

My Query is,

What is the difference between a hidden field and a non displayed field
(with regard to subfiles). Why is RRN declared a hidden field and
PAGSIZ as a non displayed field during page by page subfile loading?

And why is a hidden field not required in the 'load all'technique?

Thanks,

         ----Vikas
