Hello all, Could any one please help on this problem. Its a simple query report . By joining two files and selecting specific fields from both file FILE 1 FILE 2 both Joined by OBJECT NAME. We generate a report with OBJECT NAME OBJECT TYPE OBJ LIB TEXT DESC FLAG PROBLEM : We are getting two detail lines whenever there are two records for the same object on the FILE1. What we want to do?. We want to elliminate the second record with same informatiion. I can able to handle this by outputing into a datafile, and write an RPG program to make the report perfect. But is there any way in Query/400 or SQL/400 or SEQUEL, I can handle this problem.? Any help is greatly appreciated.
