:::Well, I do not see RPG or COBOL disappearing from the 400 landscape
:::anytime soon, nor do I see that happening in the mainframe world. It
:::is mho that Java is a microcomputer solution to a couple of problems
:::that for the most part do not cause midrange or mainframe folks any
:::grief. To be sure, crossplatform independence is very useful but I
:::like OS/400!!!

According to IBM's ad campaign ... if you don't learn Java, the only job for
you will be flipping burgers at the local fast food restaurant! <g>
