Synapse has an SQL based file transfer (WinTran) that will convert to CSV as well as many other PC based common denominator formats including dBase which is great because the data dictionary in the DDS specs comes down with the data. It can run over either SNA (APPC) or TCP/IP. It is bundled into their WinAPPC (SNA) product and into their NetWolf (TCP/IP) product. Claimer. I am vendor of both.
