An OS/400 exit point is simply a place to make a program call. OS/400
provides "jumping off" places where you can force OS/400 to call your own
programs, providing a way to tailor operating system behavior. Exit points
are provided at several places in OS/400, using a pre-defined parameter
list. For example, you can add an exit point program that inhibits a given
user from using an ODBC driver. See OS/400 Registration Facility APIs,
SC41-5871-02, for details.
