Check some 5250 style terminals, and fire up the 'verify device' mode...
this usually includes a screen that shows 1 of every character and 1 of
every display attribute.

Or, once again on a terminal, put it in 'display hidden' mode and most will
display the atribute bytes on the screen.

There are some differences between monochrome and color displays.  And some
attribute combinations seem to cancel each other out (ie blink reverse
image high intensity or some other nasty combinations).
