You can find this information in the following IBM manuals;

1. System API reference (Dynamic Screen Manager API section)

2. 5250 Information Display Systems Functional Reference

The second manual is the one you'll need for developing this kind of
application.

BTW: If you're creating a 5250 emulator, be sure to check out the TN5250e
extentions (RFC 1250)
