 Hi,
I am working with a client who has the STRPCO() command
implemented within the CL programs of an application. The STRPCO()
is used to initiate the FAX Viewer application on the PC and point
it to a specific document on a drive mapped to the AS/400.
Well, with the V4R2 system, we have moved the development staff
to direct IP, with Netsoft Portfolio/400. When the application gets to
the STRPCO() command it halts with an IWS4032 "STRPCO can only run from
a programable workstation." Now, a thinkpad with Win/95 may fall into
this catagory in some offices. But.....
Anyway, short of moving to a REXEC() type interface any
suggestions on how to move this code over so it will work in the IP
connection enviroment build built here..
     Thanks,
     JMS
