Hans and Jon,

I used to want this exact ability more until the (N) option was added to chain,
read, and reade for record locking control. I would still like to add my support
for this option as I have programs that need to simultaneously use a file by key
and by relative record. The file has few enough records to justify not using a
separate LF and more than other storage
methods can justify.
