Hi Folks,

We're using CC Mail here and I always get an TEXT attachment with an EMail
from MIDRANGE-L. This normally contains the routing information as well as
the Author and EMail address. As a result I always have visibility on who sent
what. Maybe its part of our setup.

Regards,

Frank Meaney.

David,

I can see the originator, and therefore the list software must have access. I c
't imagine why Lotus would chop this out but if this is the case, maybe the stan
rd footing could be enhanced to include the originator? I only have experience
th generation E-mail on the AS/400 so I have no idea whether this is a stupid
ideaor something that would be easy to do.

Thanks,

David Morris

Lou is correct, and cc:Mail is one of the primary culprits. I moderate a BPCS
mailing list off of MIDRANGE.COM and, until I broke down and purchased my
765D, had to hope like heck that people signed their notes when I was out of
town at any client site using a cc:Mail client for e-mail. I don't know if
this is a setup problem with cc:Mail, or if it just cannot properly handle
mail from a LISTSERV...

Cheers!
